Read an article today, but forgot the name of CEO and his company. I think it was Amazon, but it is not the point.
 
The article was talking about this CEO is good at math and logical since he was a kid. He didn't like his grandmother smokes and he read a research about smoking death. So one time on a trail trip with his grandparents, he told his grandmother that the death rate if smoking, and based on that, how many years his grandmother can live.

Took morning off from work for afternoon business, and got time to visit traditional market today.
 
What makes traditional market different than supermarket are people, voices and fresh. People would get around the stand just to see what good to buy. Owners of stands will present their best and fresh food to sell, from fresh fish, meet to cooked dishes. All you can choose for preference.

 
Some owners are sweet talker. No matter how old you are, they still call you " young lady or little sis, what can I get you today?" Love this kind of sweet and local people.
 
Thanks to have such traditional market around for me to be more human and feel local.

 Fresh cooked red fried pork, so yummy.. TV shows even came to report once

 Nice stand owner gave me this big bag to put everything together when he saw me have many bags on hand

Wise people say no matter days or things are good or bad, there is always some to be happy about and be grateful.
 
I guess that is my day today. Computer was back from repair shop, but became dame slow. It can take forever to open a file or load a page. Honestly, it wasn't fit my path because I can't take slow on the computer. I would want to slam the computer hard and hope it can run faster.

 
Good thing I didn't do that today. I just left files to run yheir show path, then play my phone at the same time. No anxiety or want to finish things quick. Just relax and take easy.
 
What for to be so rush and stay anxious? There are always things to do one after one. Enjoy the moment.

No response computer made me a slow afternoon

What is a good thing to do on a Sunday afternoon? Hang out with a good friend for a cup of coffee and chat. I am so glad to have Terry as my friend for years since we were in the US even she is at my mom's age.
 
We have different religious, but never fought about differences. Terry is so cool to listen to me share about my religion and stories. I am so grateful about it.

 
Even we don't see each other that often like in the US, but we still care about each other. That is so good. I treasure it lot.

Today was a slow day, nothing special.
 
But like some wise people said, even just in a normal day, there must something to be happy about and thank for. Because we all have to live at the moment to feel that.

Today is 9th day of January in Lunar Calendar, also known as the birthday of Greatest Emperor upon heaven. Lots of people and temples had their birthday worship at 11:00pm last night when is considered the 9th day already.
 
We had blessed to held the birthday ceremony for the Greatest Emperor. Two nights preparation just for the big day today. Everyone arrived before 8:30am this morning and started working. The whole birthday ceremony took about 8 hours, include our lunch time and chanting. Although it was a long day, we ended it in good and perfect.

Today started at good in the morning. Received a long time no receive "morning " from M.A. I must had a really big smile on my face when I saw that "morning "showed up at my Line. Felt so good.
 
Then at lunch time, I had another felt good. Ate noodle at a vegetarian stand, and one lady was talking to the owner. As soon as I over heard she made a "nut tar" and sold before Chinese New Year, my eyes just wide opened. Turn out she is a cooking teacher for healthy eating, and she also make many goodies for vegetarians. How lucky to randomly meet someone who can make goodies for vegetarians? This is that lucky.

Since I took day off yesterday for grandma's 1st 7 day, today was my first day back to work after Lunar New Year.

Guess my computer still wanted to be on vacation, so it didn't wake up. The screen was black. smile emoticon Needed to send it to repair shop.
Thank God we still has old computer at office and able to work. So worked with the old computer, not bad, still sharp. Had an easy 1st day of work.
Day 52, I am thankful and I am happy

Today is the 1st 7th day of grandma's leaving. Had a small ceremony for her this morning. After that, we got together for lunch and made more paper lotus in the afternoon. Then, we as grandchildren, had a chance to hear more about grandma and grandpa life.
 
We were so amazed that even grandmother didn't have any education, but she was helping great-grandmother for household finance. Not only that, she was so good at public relations. She could deliver a bowl of noodle to a customer's store and spent 15 minutes there till grandpa got mad. And what she did at customers were public relations. All houses grandparents and my mom, uncle, aunt lived at young ages were purchased by grandma, not grandpa.
