Time comes down to end of Chinese Lunar Year which means more gathering and meals for offices and friends.
 
We had an year end dinner tonight. Well, we don't call it is year end dinner, but just a gathering dinner. 9 of us and 7 were women. Still, we ordered a full table. So full, and need to pack to go.

 
Food was not bad. It was Beijing style meal. Noodles, veggies, vinegar peanut, variety dumplings, eggplant and more. Even now at 11:00 pm, at least 2 hours from dinner, I can still taste the dumplings.
 
Thanks to Molly for this gathering dinner. I had a blast.

We had a dinner out tonight. Wonder where to go, then heard cousin opens a new nice deli. So we decided to pay a visit for the dinner.
 
Walked pass a noisy night market with all kinds of food, arrived this cute and warm deli, COFFEE SMITH.
 

Many self / inner growing instructors say that clean house is a good and important thing because it also clean your mind at the same time. Well, time of the year also closes to Chinese New Year, which means also has to clean now.
 
Temple was doing the annual cleaning today. I guess one advantage to be short is I could get up to the ladder to clean all the ceiling lights when others have a little trouble to stay at top.
 

When I just came back to Taiwan, I was worried where I could get the items I used in the US. I saw them at local pharmacy or Waltons, but the prices are not so nice compared to the sizes.
 
Thanks to Taipei Rare Station zone. Stores import them with fair prices. In fact, the prices are not much different than in the US. I was so happy to find them.
 

I have to admit sometimes I am a "buy girl" when it comes to clothes. Normally I am in a good control, but once a while, I would desperate want to clothes in certain color, like blue, black or red.
 
Yes, red. I am not sure maybe Chinese New Year is coming or some other unknown reasons, I suddenly want to wear red. I mean RED RED, FRESH BLOODY RED, not wine red. I have wine red, but they just can't bring me up like these bloody red.
 

Wawawa, I really have to say thank you, Taipei bus library. Because of you, I got a love novel on a bus and able to drag myself into it tonight.
 
I haven't read this kind of novel books since I got back to Taiwan. It always can bring me back to school days when I nearly could finish 4-5 books per school day. Even when I was in the US, I also could finish 12 - 14 books like this just during a weekend. Can be able to read free and relaxly is sowonderful.

Well, today was a normal normal day, and I tried hard to look for any happy thing to fill the day, but it was just really a plain day.
 
So today I wanted to make a special thanks. This 100 happiness day has been to 24 days till today. I want to say thank you to all friends who made a LIKE on my daily posts. Some of you even LIKE everyday. That was a big encouragement for me. Thank you so much.

We usually take photos of products when we prepare customers' shipment. That way can help us to understand the parts because there are so many parts on a heavy bike that we don't know. Since we are not professional and office is not a studio, sometimes products don't look good in the camera.
 
So,we got anew toy, a portable studio. It can be opened to use when needed, and after, can put it away just by putting it back to a bag. How nice. We got the largest one,120cm x 120cm. Now, we can take nice photos.

Ok, I had another temple day today, but different lol. Today is at an traditional temple where is inside of a mountain, 6 story high.
 
A little bit history of the temple. In normal, each temple has its main God to run the temple business, maybe a doctor, teacher, general, etc. In other words, each temple has its own mission, and different from each. 

This mountain temple has Emperor Shenong as main God who was an emperor from ancient time. He found all rices and tasted more than 100 herbs, so he is also well-known a doctor God.
 

Today was the 1st Emperor Shenong (開基五穀王）of the temple to show his followers how powerful he is. There was an event called <carry god's sedan > which God would be going around the temple to watch and clean all dirty or evil spirit around it. With loud dram and gong, all bad left.

 

Except going around the temple, there was also <go under the sedan >. People believe when you go under the sedan with pure sincers, then your wishes can be granted, or at least, all bad influences around can be cleaned.

 

So at day 22, with go under the sedan, I feel peace and powerful again. And for that, I am thankful and I am happy.

What a good thing to do on a beautiful sunny Saturday morning? Most of times I would say staying on bed till late is wonderful, but it hardly happened. Almost every my Saturday morning is at the temple with group chanting.
 
Well, it is not a bad thing. Consider we are at a material world to fight for money and living from Monday to Friday, and Saturday finally can get away from it, but to feed spirit. It is kind of a balancing between material and not material.
