A pain is actually a relief
Do you have Paronychia? Do you know what Paronychia is? You may not know this professional term, but you must heard it in taiwanese, 凍甲. It is when your toe nails grow into your skin, and make you too pain to walk. It mostly happens on big toe.
I used to have bad Paronychia, needed to cut my toe nail every month with force and it still felt hurt after. The nail just kept growing back and stuck into skin to cause pain. I didn't know what to do, but only kept cutting with force.
So thankful to find out the small hair salon owner down in our alley who happens to help people to cure this pain for 30 years three years ago. Unlike doctors at hospital only pull nails out from skin to relief pain for a while then nail grows back continuously, she cares more about how nail grows. She told me only to adjust nails back to the way / direction they should grow, or pain will keep coming back.
Since then, I go back to her to get a nail cut. Three years, sometimes it is so pain because I wear shoes too tide and make nails go into skin deep. Sometimes it is OK, and I can chat with her when she cut the nail. Till now, my big tie nail is almost back to its way. The pain is less. So happy.
